4. ASSOCIATION „REMNANTS OF WAR THREAT PREVENTION“ (1/4)  Established in 2014  Headquarters – Alytus  Office – Kaunas MISSION – to provide professional services in searching, discovery and identification of hazardous materials (UXO, UXO components etc.)

PURPOSES  Ensure implementation of projects in the most safest manner.  Assist in saving project budget and reduce additional expenses concerning heavy machinery and personnel outage.  Take care of contractors employees life and health during construction and digging works.  Ensure contractors equipment and heavy machinery safety.  Reduce contamination of UXOs concentration and threat in LTU.  Use only innovative means and methods reaching goals and purposes.  Ensure retired explosives ordnance disposal personnel continuity of expertize and competence. SERVICES 1/2  Search, discovery and identification of hazardous materials (UXO, UXO components etc.).  Remote consultations concerning terrain contamination (UXO, UXO components etc.), threat (high, medium, low) and possible solutions (free of charge).  Representation of companies dealing with employment, training and other services related to explosives threats. 7.  Evaluation of possibly contaminated areas, submission of risks assessments.  Training and teaching the society and organizations (governmental, non-governmental) about remnants of war threats. 8. Cooperation Agreement with MOI Fire and Rescue department Collecting and analyzing information about contaminated areas within the country; Contributing in solving out demining issues and providing other possible solutions; Evaluating contaminated areas and submitting risk assessments. Agreement with MOD Lithuania armed force Requesting military to conduct confirmation checks in cleaned areas(10% of area); Participating in military expertize and competences testing's to keep personnel competence; Conducting information changing and sharing concerning contaminated areas.
