Schools of Choice 105 & 105C Application Guidelines What is In District Open Enrollment? Romeo Community Schools allows students from within Macomb County and contiguous county residents to apply to a school of their choice in the Romeo Community School District, if certain requirements are met. What are the Minimum Requirements? Space is available at the district. Transportation is provided by the student/family. Application is submitted according to the guidelines. Approval from the Superintendent is obtained. How Do I Exercise My Schools of Choice Request? Obtain a Schools of Choice Application form(s) from any Romeo Community Schools or Administration offices. Complete your portion of the Schools of Choice Application. IMPORTANT: All information on form must be filled out completely to be accepted for consideration. Deliver to the Superintendent’s office. Application(s) must be submitted between (To be determined) What Happens Next? After approving/rejecting the request, the Superintendent notifies the student, building principals, and Pupil Services of the final decision. Notification of your request will be made by (To be determined). Parent must contact the Superintendent’s office as to whether or not they have accepted the school building placement. Parent must contact the school of choice to confirm the first day of attendance and to obtain and complete enrollment forms by (To be determined).
