2. “Bye mom and dad” Finally your parents are gone you can do what ever you want, when you want. Your name is Izzy and you are 15 years old you have an older brother named Shane, he is 17. Your mom and dad are married and they just left to go to Mexico. Also you have a best friend named Emma and she is one year older than you. Your birthday is this weekend you will be finally turning 16. You finally will have a little more freedom.

3. It is finally here it is the day of your birthday, for some odd reason your brother is running around like crazy. He has been on the phone since 7o’clock this morning, and keeps leaving with nothing and keeps coming back with more and more bags. He hasn’t even said “Happy Birthday” to you yet, you are wondering if he even remembers that it is your birthday.

4. The day goes on slowly but surely. It doesn’t even feel like it is your birthday. No one has called you or talked to you. It is defiantly not one of your best birthdays. Just then your phone rings and it is your best friend Emma. She wants you to come over to her house at 4 o’clock so that she can give you your gift. Your thinking someone has finally remembers that it is your birthday. You quickly run up stairs to get change into your birthday outfit and run to Emma’s house. When you get to Emma’s house she is not there so you are wondering if you were ditched or why she called you to come over and she wasn’t even there.

5. So you leave Emma’s house and you run back home, thinking how your best friend could do that to you. So you come home and the door is locked and you can’t come in, you are hollering Shane’s name and he won’t come to the door you are getting very frustrated and very upset. “Can I come In Shane”

6. Shane comes to the door and he says, “You can come in” you strangely but surely come into your house, you are feeling very awkward. The lights are turned off, and you cant really see anything. “You Can Come In Now”

7. You walk upstairs and there was all your classmates sitting there and they jump out of the dark and they all scream so loudly “Happy Birthday.” You are so shocked you start to cry. Until you seen Gavin the Junior that you have this enormous crush on and he spots you and you spot him. Everyone is in this big blur cause all you see is him. You can’t believe that he is there at you 16th birthday party.

8. We all deicide to go outside and sit around the fire pit, and we start playing truth or dare, Gavin got ask a question that ask who do you like? As Gavin is thinking we all think he likes Izzy but we are not sure?

9. -If you think Gavin say “he likes you”If you think Gavin say “he likes you” -If you think Gavin say “he likes no one”If you think Gavin say “he likes no one”

10. Your heart sinks. You are thinking oh my gosh I can’t believe it he really does like me. You were not really expecting that answer. You start to blush but the good thing is that it is dark and no one can see you. You like Gavin to, but he’s a Junior and you a Freshman.

11. -Turn to page 12. If you think you will tell Gavin that you like him. -Turn to page 11. If you think you will act shy around him.

12. Your heart sinks and you feel like everyone is looking at you. You never were excepting that he didn’t like you. You thought he really did and now you are even more upset because the boy that you like doesn’t like you and that is a problem. You never like to hear when you like someone and they don’t like you. You are very frustrated but….

13. -If you are going to let that ruin your party. -If you are going to let it go.

14. You are all down and depressed you truly thought he liked you. You are not acting like your normal self, your friends are laughing and giggling and you just sit there, like a stump on a log. One of the guys asked everyone if they wanted to come play ghost in the graveyard. But you need to talk to one of your friends about Gavin.

15. -If you are going to ask for some advice from your friends -If you are going to play ghost in the graveyard.

16. You then just decide to ignore him and act like nothing happened at all. You sometimes look out the corner of your eye, and look at Gavin. When he turns and try’s to look at you, you turn and ignore him. You can tell he is getting angry. But then you realize he is looking at you even more. He comes over to you and tells you its over. 17. So you take a step out of your box and ask your friends for some advice about dealing with Gavin. You ask your friends for some advice. They tell you to just let it go, because boys are bad anyways. As they were telling you boys are bad they pointed some other boys out that they thought were pretty cute to. But your best friend Emma was talking to Gavin. I could kind of hear her say. How could you do that to my best Friend? You had her so upset and embarrassed because we all basically new that you like her and she liked you but, I guess we were all wrong. Anyways you start letting that go and are having a good time not thinking about Gavin, you are not going to think about him anymore at this party. Instead you are having a blast by eating cake and ice-cream and telling stories with your friends. THE END

18. So you let it go and you just decide to talk about it later. So you just jumped out of your seat and headed over to were everyone is partying ghost in the graveyard. You are parting it up now having a blast playing ghost in the graveyard in your backyard. You are working up and exercise and you and your friends want to get something to drink so you head back to your house to grab something to drink. You see one of you good girl friends grab some alcohol and she ask if you want some. You know its not right but.

20. You grab the drink and you think to yourself its only one, it cant hurt. You know you are under age but it is only one, only one I am thinking to myself. You take one that your friend offered you, your brother Shane didn’t even care. You look up at Shane as a role model and if he didn’t even say no then that makes me think it is ok. So after you drink the other one, still thinking it is ok, until you look up and you see your friends swearing and breaking things and starting to argue with each other. So when she saw all of that you thought to yourself. After thinking you though it was best not to have another one and to take it all away. You felt good about taking it away because at first you made the wrong decision but now you made the right decision by taking it is away. THE END

21. Your friend was totally cool about it she agreed with you. So you went out to the garage and grab some pop. Everyone was just fine about that. After we all were done with taking a break we decided to go back out side and tell silly, funny, scary stories and roast marshmallows. You all went outside. It was so much fun but very scary at the same time. But it was getting close for all your classmates to leave. So you went inside and opened presents that your good girl friends gave you. And had an amazing night that you will never forget. THE END

22. It was time for them all to leave. The house was empty and you go jump into your brother’s arms for throwing you this huge 16th birthday party. You tell him thank you very much and tell him that this was one of my best parties I have ever had. THE END

23. Your heart is pounding and your palms are sweating. You think to yourself, are you really going to tell the crush of you life that you like him. Are you for sure that he really likes you? He said he did. But was he just making that up? You walk up to him. You stutter a little bit you say hey Gavin, he replies hey. You say just to let you know I like you, a lot. He stares at you for a while which feels like forever with no emotion. He finally come out and says that’s cool because I like you too. He then finally say, would you like to grab something to eat sometime?

25. You both smile at each other, and blush. You and your crush has finally told you the truth that he likes you. You stomach is filled with butterflies. This was one of your best Birthdays ever. THE END

26. You can tell that his stomach sank. His smile fads away slowly but surly. You can tell he is embarrassed for even asking the question. You feel stupid and bad for saying no. But you were to scared and nervous to say yes. You have never went out with someone older than you before. As you watch him stutter to say oh, you can feel his heart crack. He slowly turns around and walk away. You are hesitated to go after him. But you said no, so you just run up into your room for the rest of the night. THE END

27. You feel weird, that he doesn’t like you. I mean you threw yourself out there and he doesn’t even like you, but oh well you think to yourself. It is his loss anyways.
