UN-MANNED SUB-STATION USING AUTO-RECLOSER: The s/s become economic as there will be no civil construction for the building and the running manpower expenses for maintaining the Sub-Station is negligible. The breakers used are hermetically sealed, insensitive to environment and thus free from maintenance Except one security guard, no manpower is needed in the sub-station. The control of the s/s will be single handed with the concerned engineer. All the circuit breaker, those will be used are with auto-reclosing feature as an option. All types of measurement, data logging and event recording will help the utility to analyze the system whenever needed. The s/s will deliver the quality power to the consumers. Project Objectives / customer benefits: Over-head network management by use of fault passage indicators. This technique will help the Utility to perform an analysis of their over head network and undertake preventive maintenance, thus reducing not only the average duration but also the number of faults. Ultimately to deliver quality power to the consumers at comparatively low cost. The aim of the project is to reduce the fault-tracking patrol time and consequently the outage time besides suppress the otherwise necessary but costly and dangerous “halve-and-reclose” attempts of the switchgear units in the primary sub-stations. Customer wanted a compact (space saving) and maintenance free installation for this project. Among the various bidders our solutions and services were selected for this prestigious job. The project was designed with compact i.e. space saving, maintenance free and reliable solution resulting more commercial space to generate additional revenue. Moreover we equipped the customer with a pre-paid energy billing system so as to enable them to collect the energy bills in the beginning of every month, avoiding the hassle of collections at a later date. Going further we helped the customer with energy saving solutions by selection of right lighting energy saver device and implementation of presence sensors in specific areas. LTD. Project: Modification of “CAN” Manufacturing Machine. Scope of Work: This machine used to make “CAN” of different size for foods, beverages, oil, chemicals industries. It was working on logic mostly controlled by digital cards & relays having semi-automatic type of pick-up, bending, welding & finishing units. Customer requirement is to convert it into an Automatic modern PLC based system. In order to meet the requirement complete reengineering has been done with subsequent programming and modification in the old system including supply of components. Now entire system is successfully running on OMRON PLCs& HMI. Scope of Work: Roll Over System used to make sand die for its own foundry, Old system consists of roller conveyors, hydraulic pump, oil heater/cooler, displacement car, lifting mechanism etc. which run on relay logic and contactor based motor starter system. A new PLC –VFD based control system has been proposed to improve the performance.
