2 Del-Mar-Va Council - 5 Year Trends ↑ 4 consecutive years of membership growth ↑ Significantly increased diversity (doubled the number of Hispanic youth) ↑ Strong financial development/stewardship ↑ Significantly higher than average Voice of the Scout scores

4 We Listened and Studied ▪ Youth like: friendships, fun, sense of belonging, competition ▪ Parents like: ROI, values, leadership, friendships with other parents Challenges: Volunteering is not fun or easy Serving underserved populations Technology is a barrier to most everything Programs lack relevance Unit program quality inconsistent
