Psalm 33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. 1

WORSHIP 2
3
Every redeemed soul worship the Almighty not only for what He has done (Rev 4:11, 5:11 – 14 & Psalm 107:1, 2) but also simply just for being the Awesome God (Psalm 33:8 & 90:2). Therefore his/her heart is always willing and ready for worship either privately or with other redeemed people of God (Psalm 34:1 – 3, 65:1 & 1 Chron. 29:11 – 13) “in the beauty of holiness” (Psalm 96:9). 3
4
Psalm 90:2 2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. 4
5
Psalm 34:1 - 3 1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 5
6
Psalm 34:1 - 3 2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 6
7
Psalm 34:1 - 3 3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. 7
8
1 Chronicles 29:11 – 13 11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. 8
9
1 Chronicles 29:11 – 13 12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. 9
10
1 Chronicles 29:11 – 13 13 Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name. 10
11
Man is not part of the animal kingdom (1 Cor. 15:39), he is a soul (Gen. 1:24 – 31 & 2:7) created in God’s image (Gen. 1:26 & 27) who is aware of God’s existence which has been set in his/her heart by God Himself (Eccl. 3:11). This inner sense of God- consciousness is far beyond his comprehension (Isaiah 55:8 & 9) therefore needs to be accepted only by faith (Heb. 11:1 & 6 NLT). 11
12
1 Cor. 15:39 (NLT) 39 Similarly there are different kinds of flesh- one kind for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish. (New Living Translation) 12
13
Ecclesiastics 3:11 (NLT) 11 Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end. (New Living Translation) 13
14
Hebrews 11:1 & 6 (NLT) 1 Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. 14
15
Hebrews 11:1 & 6 (NLT) 6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. (New Living Translation) 15
16
Each redeemed believer has a spiritual hunger and thirst after God (Psalm 42:1, 2 & 63:1, 2 NLT) which continually increases for the infinite awesomeness of God (Psalm 63:8 & Romans 8:15, 16). Ultimately worship is the redeemed soul’s recognition, acknowledgement and response to the awesomeness of God (Psalm 33:8 & Luke 1:46, 47). 16
17
Psalm 42:1 & 2 (NLT) 1 As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. 17
18
Psalm 42:1 & 2 (NLT) 2 I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him? (New Living Translation) 18
19
Psalm 63:1, 2 & 8 (NLT) 1 O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. 19
20
Psalm 63:1, 2 & 8 (NLT) 2 I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. 20
21
Psalm 63:1, 2 & 8 (NLT) 8 I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely. (New Living Translation) 21
22
Romans 8:15 & 16 (NLT) 15 So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” 22
23
Romans 8:15 & 16 (NLT) 16 For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. (New Living Translation) 23
24
Psalm 33:8 8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. 24
25
Luke 1:46 & 47 46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, 25
26
Luke 1:46 & 47 47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. 26
27
Since God is infinite in all His attributes (Job 11:7 – 9 NLT; Psalm 139:1 – 6; 147:5 & Rom. 11:33 NIV) the redeemed soul has a continual longing to know, appreciate, adore, praise and worship more and more of God’s awesomeness. It is God’s infiniteness which causes this continual, never-ending longing (Psalm 63:8 NET) 27
28
Job 11:7 – 9 (NLT) 7 "Can you solve the mysteries of God? Can you discover everything about the Almighty? 28
29
Job 11:7 – 9 (NLT) 8 Such knowledge is higher than the heavens-and who are you? It is deeper than the underworld-what do you know? 29
30
Job 11:7 – 9 (NLT) 9 It is broader than the earth and wider than the sea. (New Living Translation) 30
31
Psalm 139:1 – 6 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. 31
32
Psalm 147:5 5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. 32
33
Romans 11:33 (NLT) 33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! (New Living Translation) 33
34
Psalm 63:8 (NET) 8 My soul pursues you; your right hand upholds me. (New English Translation) 34
35
Each redeemed soul also enjoys having sweet continual fellowship with God (Gen. 5:24 & 1 Chron. 28:9 NLT). This divine truth of God’s existence cannot be erased from his/her heart by any worldly wisdom even by those who deny God’s existence (Psalm 53:1) unless permission is given by the redeemed soul (Col. 2:8 NLT). 35
36
Genesis 5:24 (NLT) 24 He enjoyed a close relationship with God throughout his life. Then suddenly, he disappeared because God took him. (New Living Translation) 36
37
1 Chronicles 28:9 9 "And Solomon, my son, learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the LORD sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will reject you forever. (New Living Translation) 37
38
Psalm 53:1 1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. 38
39
Colossians 2:8 (NLT) 8 Don't let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. (New Living Translation) 39
40
Those in denial wilfully supress this divine truth (Rom. 1:18 – 23 NLT) even though creation reveals that there is definitely a Creator (Psalm 19:1, 2 & 148:1 – 5) who continually sustains the whole Universe (Col. 1:16, 17 & Heb. 1:3 NLT). Therefore denial is not acceptable (Psalm 19:1 – 4 & Rom. 1:19, 20), every responsible person is accountable to God (Rom. 14:12 & Heb. 4:12, 13 NLT). 40
41
Romans 1:18 (NLT) 18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. (New Living Translation) 41
42
Psalm 19:1 & 2 (NLT) 1 The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. 42
43
Psalm 19:1 & 2 (NLT) 2 Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. (New Living Translation) 43
44
Colossians 1:15 – 17 (NLT) 15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, 44
45
Colossians 1:15 – 17 (NLT) 16 for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see-such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. 45
46
Colossians 1:15 – 17 (NLT) 17 He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. (New Living Translation) 46
47
It is vital that clarity is given and that there is no misunderstanding of WHO is the real miracle worker (Acts 3:1 – 14) so that no one is misled or misinformed. Whenever God speaks/perform a miracle through an individual (1 Peter 4:11) this is not a divine approval/confirmation of his/her ministry or any denomination/local church (1 Cor. 9:27). 47
48
God’s divine purpose is to confirm His Word (Mark 16:20) and to bring glory only to Himself (Isaiah 48:11, Eph. 3:20, 21 & 1 Peter 4:10 & 11). “Unto Him be glory in the church…” (Eph. 3:21). 48
49
The word “worship” is from two Old English words, ‘weorth’ which means “worth” and ‘ship’ which means “quality.” Therefore worth- ship is “the quality of having worth, to be worthy.” Worshipping God is to acknowledge His infinite worth (1 Chron. 29:11 – 13). Long before creation He is continually God (Psalm 90:2). 49
50
1 Chronicles 29:11 - 13 11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. 50
51
1 Chronicles 29:11 - 13 12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. 51
52
1 Chronicles 29:11 - 13 13 Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name. 52
53
Psalm 90:2 2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God 53
54
Every redeemed soul by the continual enlightenment and empowerment of the Holy Spirit (John 4:24 & Eph. 1:18) knows, acknowledge and respond to the awesomeness of God. The Spirit knows the true infinite worth of God (1 Cor. 1:10). 54
55
There is no creature or idol that shares the true infinite value of the awesomeness of God (Isaiah 40:18 & 25) therefore none is or will ever be qualified or worthy to share in His glory (Exodus 34:14, Isaiah 48:11 & 1 Cor. 1:29). He alone is infinitely worthy to be praise, worship and adored (Isaiah 6:1 – 4). The redeemed soul worship God not only what He has done but for who He is (Psalm 33:8 & 90:2). 55
56
Isaiah 40:18 & 25 18 To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him? 56
57
Isaiah 40:18 & 25 25 To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. 57
58
Exodus 34:14 14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: 58
59
Isaiah 48:11 11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. 59
60
1 Corinthians 1:29 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence. 60
61
1 Chronicles 29:11 - 13 11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. 61
