Uncovered
Dry
Visible
COMPARE
Compare hourly
IV site should be:
Without swelling
Same size as the other side
Even when asleep
Call your nurse for:
Swelling
Pain
Numbness
Redness or bruising
Wet, firm, hot or cold to touch
