5 Users' Viewpoint ● Proof of authors identity ● Proof of license scheme ● Proof of date, when license was applied ● Altering the work becomes trackable ● Enriched MetaData supports work's reception ● Moral rights clarify usage restrictions in advance Publications or derivates must be build on a secure legal ground. A user may ask an author, to register the work in order to get 100% confidence on the license applied.

6 Organisations' Viewpoint ● Central rights clearing possible ● Content distributors such as radio stations or mobile phone providers can make bulk arrangements ● Usage of ISBN/GRID (Global Release Identifier) ● Legal security offered ● Interfaces to rights collecting societies' EDP-systems Organisations will be able to clear rights without the need to look up each license attached to individual works.
