General Info You should format your slides (background, etc.) to be appropriately visually interesting. Include pictures as well as text. Choose fonts and sizes that make it easy to read the information. Info should be bulleted, not in paragraph form. When you present, do not read to us! Elaborate on the bullet points on your slides.

Early Years Birthplace, date, family background Early influences (other people, events, places, etc)

Getting Started How/why did this person start writing plays? Early works (first few plays and/or appearances)

Prime Time What play or event made this playwright famous / someone to remember? Describe the circumstances as thoroughly as possible.

The Complete Works List as many plays as you can find that your playwright wrote. Note any trends on style, topics, etc.

Let’s Watch a Clip Find a clip of a scene you can share with the class from one of the plays your playwright wrote.

Your Opinion Having learned about this playwright, are you inspired to go see or read any of his/her works? If so, why? If not, why not?

Anything else? These slides are to give you a very broad outline of what you should be telling us. Add anything (within the presentation or at the end) that you think will give us a clearer picture of your playwright.
