7 TEST RESULTS Functional test of first production CES (2012)  Verified basic operation, AC and DC round-trip efficiency, frequency regulation, peak shaving, islanding, harmonics, basic impulse level  Normal local operation, remote monitoring and control, abnormal operation, safety-related fault conditions were tested and verified Aged battery analysis (2015)  Initial capacity check, cycling test, peak shaving profile, final capacity check  53kWh capacity was verified with > 95% DC and 87% AC efficiency  Peak shaving discharge power maintained without reaching 0% SOC  No faults, no observed signs of aging or degradation Repurposed EV batteries (2015)  Initial capacity check, AC round-trip efficiency, peak shaving profile, final capacity check  Average discharge energy of 92kWh beginning of life battery reduced to 52kWh
