1 BIO - Joshua R. Iverson Iverson Media and Communications LLC. Josh Iverson is an accomplished new media sales and marketing professional with over 10 years in media sales experience in both management and individual sales. He has built successful advertising programs in the college, boomer, and soccer-mom market demographics. An expert at helping advertisers leverage new media to create unique campaigns, Josh collaborated with clients (Apple and Paramount Pictures) to craft the first ever social networking campaigns (on Facebook.com). Later on, he was the top contributor at Classmates.com (the oldest social network), where his accounts included Monster, CVS, Vonage, Harford Insurance and others. Most recently, Josh managed the national advertising and content sales team at Intellicast.com, a division of WSI (part of The Weather Channel Companies/NBC Universal). At Intellicast.com, Josh’s team broke the all-time monthly revenue record 3 out of 5 months. Before Intellicast.com, Josh opened the New England market for Classmates.com (NASDAQ: UNTD). Within 1-year he became the top individual contributor, and lead the strategic accounts team whose clients generated nearly 40% of all East Coast revenue. Before Classmates.com, Josh worked for Y2M, a college marketing company that represented Facebook.com and a network of ~300 online college newspapers. At Y2M, now owned by MTVu/Viacom, Josh was instrumental in generating crucial revenue in difficult market conditions; he grew key accounts like Ford, landed new accounts like Microsoft, Apple, Amazon.com, and others. He was also charged to recruit, train, and organize the sales team. Before Y2M, Josh founded ezADit.com, a innovative college newspaper broker/technology, which later merged with College Publisher/Y2M and grew to represent over 2800 college newspapers. Josh has earned an MBA from Boston University (2007), and a BA in Advertising from Brigham Young University (2001).
