1 Overarching Aim to address food poverty in Nottinghamshire by developing a working model that supports local food producers, builds collaboration between them and consumers and supports community food projects to reach low-income households.

2 Project Activities Keeping up to date with strategies and policies, building relationships with decision-makers and representing local food projects. Creating an online gateway to local food with a directory of local food Developing a shared brand to promote local food, carrying out outreach and community events in areas of high deprivation. Supporting a network of community food projects to build collaboration and improve their impact Identifying areas of food poverty and producing maps of local food projects Engaging local food project volunteers and participants.

3 5 Project Outcomes 1.A new stand-alone website is designed to provide a directory of local food projects and producers, serving as a central information hub within the first 6 months of the project. 2. Local-level local food maps are created, widely distributed and promoted face-to-face in 2 County and 2 City neighbourhoods with the highest levels of multiple deprivation within the first 18 months of the project.

4 5 Project Outcomes 3. Community food projects attend quarterly network meetings for peer-to-peer support and tailor-made training, and receive on-call support to improve and sustain their project’s impact on food poverty. 4. A shared brand for Nottinghamshire food is designed and branding materials are distributed by the end of the project. www.food.groundworknottingham.org.uk 5. A working model to evidence the methods and benefits of engaging local food projects to tackle food poverty, is submitted to key strategic partners at the end of the project
