Learning Agenda:  What is screen capture?  Why do we do it?  How to do it?

What is screen capture? Screen capture is an application which allows you to capture video games, Skype and more with Free trial software.

Why do you record your computer screen on Windows 8 ? Do you have friends who have just acquired Windows 8 and are struggling to learn how to use the new user interface? Now you can help them out with video tutorials instead of spending hours trying to explain things.

Why do you record your computer screen on Windows 8 ? Movavi Screen Capture Studio lets you easily create tutorials and share them in no time. The software not only lets you record anything that happens on your computer screen, but you can also edit captured video to create sophisticated user tutorials.

How to record your computer screen on Windows 8? The following five easy steps will guide you through the process. Step 1: Download and Install Movavi Screen Recording Software Step 2: Adjust the Capture Settings Step 3: Record Your Screen Activity Step 4 (Optional): Edit Your Video Step 5: Save the Video

Step 1: Download and Install Movavi Screen Recording Software  First, download and run the installation file for Movavi Screen Capture Studio. Note that, when you launch the setup program, your PC switches to desktop mode. The installation process should only take a couple of minutes – just follow the onscreen instructions.  After the installation is complete, the program opens automatically (unless you unchecked the corresponding check box in the Setup window).

Step 2: Adjust the Capture Settings  Adjust the capturing frame manually, or select the appropriate size preset from the Select Capture Arealist.  Now select the required audio device: you can record sound from your microphone (or other input device), or speakers, or from both input and output audio devices simultaneously.  Simply check the icon for the required sound source.

 to make your screencast more informative, you can highlight the mouse cursor and capture keyboard actions by clicking the corresponding icons (when the device icon is yellow, this indicates that its action capture is turned on).

Step 3: Record Your Screen Activity  Now you are ready to record the desktop. Click the REC button or press F10 on your keyboard, and the program will start capturing everything on your screen within a few seconds.  Press the Windows key to quickly switch to the Start screen.

 After you’ve captured everything you need, press the F10 key to stop recording.  Your PC will switch back to desktop mode. A preview window opens automatically, where you can choose what you want to do with your screen recording  save the video on your computer  share it online, or continue working on it using the built-in video editor.

Step 4 (Optional): Edit Your Video  Click the Edit button in the preview window to add the video you’ve recorded to the Movavi Video Editor program. Drag the video to the working area below and edit it the way you want: add music and titles, apply special effects and more.

 When you’ve finished editing, click the Save Movie button and choose what you would like to do with the finished video: save it on your PC, prepare it for uploading to a mobile device, burn it to DVD, or share it online.

Step 5: Save the Video  If you don’t need to edit the screen captures, you can skip Step 4 and save the video or share it online as soon as you’ve finished recording.  Just choose the desired preset from the list at the bottom of the preview window and click save.
