The Grace Period… …was designed for those students who can read 3 rd grade text, but are still learning how to write an answer to comprehension questions. …allows those students to be considered ON grade level for the first two marking periods as they learn how to write a well-developed response to comprehension questions. …is in effect until the end of the second marking period. At this time, students must be able to respond in writing to 3 rd grade level text to be considered ON grade level. …was designed for those students who can read 3 rd grade text, but are still learning how to write an answer to comprehension questions. …allows those students to be considered ON grade level for the first two marking periods as they learn how to write a well-developed response to comprehension questions. …is in effect until the end of the second marking period.
