2 Membranous nephropathy and focal glomerulosclerosis –Most common causes of the nephrotic syndrome in nondiabetic adults Membranous nephropathy [Term] –Basement membrane thickening with little or no cellular proliferation or infiltration on light microscopy Kyungyup Kim, M.D.
