4.  Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809.  His mother died of tremolo, it is a milk sickness. He was only 9 years old.  They lived in a log cabin.  On February 27, 1860 he was asked to speak to a crowd of powerful Republicans.  Abraham Lincoln married Mary Todd Lincoln when he was 26.  Lincoln was in the army as a soldier.  He was the 16th president.

5.  He was the first President to have a beard.  He was the tallest President, he was 6 foot 4 inches.  His father was a widow.  He had a step mother.  In 1832 Lincoln fought in the Black Hawk War. 0 He was 6 4

6. o One week before Lincolns death he had a dream that someone was crying in the white house. He looked and asked who passed away. He looked in the coffin and saw his face. o Abraham Lincoln was shot on Good Friday. o The Philadelphia Dillinger was the gun that Wilkes Booth used to kill him. o He died on April 14, 1865 at 10:15 pm. o He was the first president to be assassinated.
