4. How does AWMI help with networking? The California Chapter holds two networking events each year, these events are free to our members and a minimal cost to non-members for the sole purpose of networking. All AWMI Members have access to the AWMI members directory which can easily be sorted by metal type and geographical location to help our members find connections. AWMI also holds its Annual Conference giving members a chance to network with others from around the US and Canada.

5. What type of Mentoring does AWMI offer? With our diverse group of members we have a number of mentors that our members are available to meet, connect with, and learn from. Not only can you find mentors within the AWMI group of members, but you can also learn how to be a mentor to others. AWMI members also have access to a “Mentoring Corner” on the AWMI.org website. Members are one click away from being able to connect and ask questions of our mentoring group, that have been selected to help those that seek out help.
