How will student work be assessed Learning Activity Central component of lesson plan Planning – develop handouts, test equipment Implementation – I have 20 students, 4 computers, so we will work in small collaborative groups. Each student will have their own “job” to do to produce the comic – writer, editor, researcher, etc. Classroom Management – Rules, ex: use blue sticky note to signal that you are having computer problems Students will use the program Kid Pix (Broderbund) to make a story showing Bobbie Bear visiting a different number of friends. Students can paint Bobbie Bear’s outfits on one side of the screen and write on the other side. Each visit will require a new Bobbie Bear outfit. Individual visits can be saved and inserted into a slide show presentation. Note: Other paint and multimedia programs could be used for this activity. Finished Bobbie Bear stories.
