Adaptation Adaptations, are something that just about every living thing does. Let me show you, here, Carlie got stuck, so she adapted to the problem, and called a tow truck

Camouflage camouflage helps an animal survive by hiding from the predator. This Giraffe is a good example of camouflage.

Individual adaptation is when an individual being adapts to something adapts to a specific problem or other matter. Example:A Gray Wolf male becomes the Alpha of the pack

Species adaptation is when a whole entire species of being adapts to a crisis or other matter. Example: the Gray Wolfs adapted to the cold weather

Hibernation is when animals sleep during the winter, before they sleep the gather and eat as much food as possible to gather fat to store for the winter. A Bear is a good example of hibernation

Migration is when animals including birds fly, usually south for the winter. Did you know that geese when they fly south they fly in a specific formation. Cool, huh. Geese are good examples of migration.

mimicry is when an animal mimics another animal that its not. For example, “ Polly want a cracker Polly want a cracker!!” a parrot is a very good example of a mimicking animal.

Genetics is the things your inherit from your parents, grand parents etc. Heredity is simply the study of Genetics.

Inherited traits are traits that you get from your family here are 3 examples, eye color, height, and strength.

Acquired traits are some you purchase or unexpectedly get here are 3 examples, you acquire your grandpas 1969 Ford F250, you acquire your fortune, you acquire your towing company.

fossils are animal skulls and skeletons from the past and they provide information by helping us explore the animal and conclude facts about that animal.

The animal I chose to research is the Gray Wolf. Gray Wolf travel in packs and have a male pack Alpha to lead that pack.

The Gray Wolf is native to remote areas of, North America,Eurasia, and North Africa. They travel in packs with 5 or 6 wolfs in a pack.

The Gray Wolf has many distinct characteristics including extra sharp hunting abilities.they also are natural survivors

The Gray Wolf’s structures help it run quick and tear up its prey. It’s functions help it sniff its way around and to help it think its way out of trouble

The Gray Wolf is a cousin of the domestic dog. They travel in packs of 5 to 6. The Gray Wolf usually is gray and white. I think the Gray Wolf is an awesome animal that has stupendous abilities.
