1 Exodus Lesson 13 “God’s Commands” Exodus 24:7-8

2 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, "All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient." 8 And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, "This is the blood of the covenant which the Lord has made with you according to all these words."

3 God’s Sovereignty-“No other Gods” "You shall have no other gods before Me. – Exodus 20:3 "He who sacrifices to any god, except to the Lord only, he shall be utterly destroyed. – Exodus 22:20

4 God’s Service-“No carved images” "You shall not make for yourself a carved image — any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; - Exodus 20:4

5 God’s Sanctity-“No profanity” "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain. – Exodus 20:7

6 God’s Sabbath-“Remember the Sabbath” " Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. - Exodus 20:8

7 God’s Servants-“Honor Parents” " Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you. – Exodus 20:12 "And he who strikes his father or his mother shall surely be put to death. – Exodus 21:15

16 Kidnappers – received death "He who kidnaps a man and sells him, or if he is found in his hand, shall surely be put to death. - Exodus 21:16

17 Bestiality & Homosexuals – received death "Whoever lies with an animal shall surely be put to death. – Exodus 22:19

18 Bestiality & Homosexuals – received death 22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. 23 Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it. It is perversion.

19 Bestiality & Homosexuals – received death 24 "Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. – Leviticus 18:22-24
