3 Students must have a user agreement on file, signed by student and parent, in the office. Agreement specifically outlines acceptable and unacceptable use of school technology.

4  The use of school computers and internet is a privilege.  Computers and internet use are for educational purposes only.  Appropriate uses include research, web design, and communicating with other students in various forms.

5  Think before you post.  Respect other people on line.  Do not meet online friends without parents…ever!

6  Plagiarism is not acceptable. Give credit where credit is due.  Using internet for threatening or harassing of others.  Contributing to chat rooms without teacher knowledge.  Using someone’s name and password, other than your own, for any reason.  Any use that would be unlawful.

7 The unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one’s own work is

8  Be polite, use appropriate language.  Never reveal passwords or user ID’s or other personal information.  E-mail is not private, administrators can gain access to this information.

9 All Students Must  Respect the privacy of others.  Respect the integrity and security of resources used in class.  Respect copyrighted music, games, software, movies. (No Illegal Copying)

10 All school systems are monitored by Sync. The instructor has the ability to view everything that the student is viewing and record such information as necessary.

11  Be respectful of others property.  Bring all materials to class.  Be on time.  Keep hands, feet and other objects to yourself.  Horseplay is not allowed at anytime.  Dress appropriately.  Always demonstrate courtesy and respect to instructor and classmates.  Obey AUP and all other campus and classroom rules.
