2. HISTORICAL FACTS  Zero has been here for a long time and we still use it today  zero came from India initially and the Arabians spread it to Europe and other places  Europe was one of the last countries in the whole world to get the number zero.

3. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ANCIENT NUMBER SYSTEMS AND THE ONES WE USE TODAY  Here are some differences between ancient number systems and the ones we use today :  The Egyptian number system numbers were based on real life things if you look at this picture Things like a flower, a finger a frog and a person.

4. THE INTRODUCTION OF ZERO TO EUROPE  The British were one of the last countries that got the number zero  They got it in 800 AD  And after being one of the last people to have the number zero they are now top for everything!

5. THE EXPANSION OF MATHS  different types of maths started to expand at different times  Maths has been here for a very long time  Maths was invented way before the number zero so people had different number systems and they used to do maths with the old number systems.

6. THE ANCIENT GREEK NUMBERS  The ancient Greek number system was very different because they don’t have a number zero.  if they do subtraction with the number subtract itself you wont get zero because there was no zero!

7. WHY ZERO IS STILL USED TODAY!!!!  We still use the number zero today because when it spread to places the majority agreed so that’s why we still use zero today!!!  In this presentation I hope you have learned more about the number zero and its history
