4 Camera Tap this camera icon to change between the forward and rear facing cameras. Tap to turn High Dynamic Range on. HDR automatically combines multiple exposures into one photo. This feature is great for settings with multiple light levels such as sunsets. Press the shutter lightly to take a photo or to start/stop recording video. Holding the shutter will take a burst of multiple photos which is helpful when capturing an action shot. Remember to delete unwanted photos to save on storage space. Swipe up or down to choose your format. Tap the small photo in the corner to view your photos. Tap an area of the frame to set that as the exposure and focal point. Tap and hold to lock the exposure and focal point. Tap anywhere else in the frame to clear the lock.

5 Camera You can take and edit photos using your iPad and also use it a photo storage device. Once you take a photo it is automatically saved to your Camera Roll. To organize your photos you may create new Albums, by pressing the + button in the Camera Roll. To move a photo from one Album to another, simply press Select in the upper right corner of the Camera Roll, and tap the photos you wish to move. You will notice a blue checkmark will appear on the photos you chose. When finished with your selection, tap Add To, and then tap the album you wish to move the photo to. To delete a photo or multiple photos, tap Select in the album, choose the photos you wish to delete, then press the trash icon.

6 Set the insertion point by touching and holding on one spot until the magnifying bubble appears. Tap select to highlight the word. You can also double tap on one word to highlight it. To highlight a bigger portion of text tap on and drag the two points on either end of the highlighted word to the desired location. With the text selected, choose Cut or Copy. To paste text, go to any area you are able to type, choose an insertion point like before, and press paste. Copy and Paste Text

7 Copy and Paste Photo To copy a photo from your photo album, open the photo in the album and press: Choose Copy. When you double tap the screen in a place you want to place the photo (ex: iMessenger), the Paste option will appear.

8 Bookmark in Safari Tap the Safari icon on your iPad’s Home screen to launch the Safari browser. Navigate to the page you want to bookmark and tap the Action button (the square with an arrow sticking out of it) Tap the Bookmark icon. Enter a new name for the bookmark if you wish and tap the field at the bottom of the pane that appears to select a location in which to store the link within your bookmarks list. Now tap the Save button to save the bookmark.

9 Siri Siri is Apple’s virtual assistant. To activate Siri, hold the Home button. Regardless of how you activate Siri, you’ll hear a brief chime that confirms Siri is listening for your question or command.
