WordPress was maybe in the beginning more for bloggers, but over the years it developed to be functional also for internet presences and mobile applications. Many great companies like Google, Sony, Facebook use WordPress to improve their web presence. Worldwide around 22% use the WordPress technology.

In order to make advanced changes maybe some CMS are better than Wordpress because Wordpress is not focused only in one type of website. You can use Wordpress plugins,but they reduce performance in some cases!
