2. Welcome to The Newspaper Business You and your partner are the editors of a newspaper—just not from this decade. The date of the newspaper you will create is December 31, of the year you choose. Articles should cover major events throughout that year. It must be a minimum of 10 years in the past.

3. Hard Copy and Online Newspaper This should be done in Microsoft Word or publisher, The newspaper should include the following sections: Local News, World News, Sports (local or national), Weather, Entertainment and Advertisements. Don’t for get to name the paper.

4. The Requirements World News—4 articles, 250 words each (20pts) Sports—2 articles, 250 words each (10pts) Local News—4 articles, 250 words each(20pts) Weather—1 article, 250 words, and a 7 day forecasts (10Pts) Entertainment—2 articles, 250 words each (10PTs) Cover Story (Front Page)—500 words(10 PTS) Each story must include 1 picture (10PTs) 5 advertisements from that time period throughout the newspaper/website(10PTS)
