11 SHORT PARAGRAPH ANSWERS Here’s a little formula to think about… (Indent) In sentence #1 identify your position and explain what it is. In sentences #2 and #3 elaborate on an example of what you mean. In sentence #4 explain the effect it had. Use at least two vocabulary words, specific names, or details. For example: One school policy that upsets me is teachers having to stand outside their doorways in the morning. This is a twenty to thirty minute block of time I could be using for far more useful things. There are already encore teachers supervising the corridors to maintain safety and order. Instead of pacing the hallway, I could be grading assignments, doing paperwork, helping students, or even enjoying “CNN Student News” with my pupils. It would make my job easier if I was in my room not in the hall. I also think overall, I would be more valuable to my students than just a hall monitoring. You can’t use MY example!!
