2 Section One: Dialogue 1 1. cover charge (s) --an amount of money you pay in some restaurants or clubs in addition to the cost of food and drink 服务费 cf. service charge (s) --an amount that is added to your bill in a restaurant to pay for the work of a waiter or waitress who services you 服务费,小费

3 Dialogue 1 2. starter (esp. BrE) --an small amount of food that is served before the main course of a meal appetizer (AmE) 3. dessert --sweet food eaten at the end of a meal

4 Dialogue 2 1. cashier --a person that customers pay money to or get money from in a shop or bank 2. no harm done (inf.) --used to tell sb not to worry because they have caused no serious damage or injury
