Fachbereich Mathematik/Naturwissenschaften 06.07.2016 Prof. Dr. Bernd Delakowitz BUP Intensive Course New European Chemicals Regulation (REACh) and the Globally Harmonized System Lodz, Poland 21-22 April, 2009 REACh (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances) The BUP intensive course offered an opportunity for academic teachers, researchers, Ph.D and master students to get basic theoretical and practical understanding of the new EU regulation.

Fachbereich Mathematik/Naturwissenschaften Sailing Trip August 2009 This year's cruise started on 25th August in Delfzijl, the Netherlands and ended 11th September in Lisbon, Portugal, with the Polish Sail Training Ship STS Pogoria. The crew comprised 11 teachers and 33 students, 3 of them from Zittau. The project was funded by the EU Erasmus Intensive Programme and was organized by the BUP Uppsala Centre for Sustainable Development in cooperation with the Technical University of Lodz, PL

5. Fachbereich Mathematik/Naturwissenschaften The Summer Course is a joint initiative of the German BUP centres in Hamburg and at the Univ Appl Sci Zittau/Goerlitz. It is organized in co- operation with the Interreg IV B project WATERPRAXIS. BUP Summer Course Water Management in the Baltic Sea Region 29 September - 3 October 2009 in Hamburg, Germany The course offers a state-of-the-art overview of matters related to sustainable development and river basin management and contributes towards efforts in the internationalization, networking and cultural interaction among local government officials, practitioners and students from Baltic countries.
