2. Appointment of Inha Student Ambassador 2010 On March 23 rd (Tue) 2010, the Graduate School appointed 10 Student Ambassadors from 8 countries in recognition of Inha’s commitment to be a global university. For the smooth operation of the body, the school also appointed Mr. Thakur Prasad Subedi (Nepal) as a Chief Secretary and Pan Bo Xing (China) as an Assistant Secretary.

Expectation from Student Ambassadors These ambassadors are expected to strive to improve the quality of Inha University through professionalism, dedication and direct partnership with their home country institutions. They will further facilitate communication to the prospective students in their home countries by providing relevant information regarding admission, scholarships and life at Inha University.

5. Activities in Winter Vacation Ms. Maribel Tolentino, Chairperson of the Department of Computer Engineering, Angeles University Foundation, Philippines Poster of INHA University Graduate School posted at the Department’s Bulletin Board. Ms. Maria Ms. Maria Velle Santos Cuaresma (Philippines) stuck posters and distributed leaflets and brochures to Angeles University Foundation, University of the Philippines (Los Baños), Saint Louis University and Polytechnic University of the Philippines with the help of her friends. She thinks that this activity is very efficient in disseminating information about Inha University as well as its promotion to potential applicants.

6. Activities in Winter Vacation Institute of Engineering, IOE, Tribhuvan University, Pulchowk, Nepal ACME Engineering College, Nepal Mr. (Nepal) stuck posters and distributed leaflets and brochures to Tribhuban University, ACME Engineering College and other institutes with the help of his friends. Mr. Sher Bahadur Rawal (Nepal) stuck posters and distributed leaflets and brochures to Tribhuban University, ACME Engineering College and other institutes with the help of his friends.

7. Activities in Winter Vacation JIMEI University, China XIAMEN University, China Mr. Mr. Su De Jin (China) visited Jimei University and Xiamen University. He distributed brochures and motivated brilliant students to choose Inha University for higher studies.

8. Activities in Winter Vacation Ms. Pan Bo Xing (China) visited Jilin University, Changchun University of Scie nce and Technology, Northeast Normal University, Jilin Agricultural University to make sure that the publicity can cover as wide as possible.

9. Activities in Winter Vacation Mr. Syamsul Nurdin (Indonesia) distributed posters and brochures to Universitas Brawijaya in Malang city and UNESA in Surabaya.

10. Best Inha Student Ambassadors of the Year (2010) To appreciate best service by student ambassadors, the honorable Vice Dean Prof. Chang Hee Nam gave presents and some prize money to the best student ambassadors. There were 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd Prize for the best Inha student ambassadors for their dedicated service. The Vice Dean also honored four student ambassadors for submitting and presenting good reports of the winter vacation. However, the Vice Dean admired and gave souvenir to every student ambassador at the end of the ceremony. He advised everyone to carry on the thriving service for Inha University.

11. 1 st Prize : China Ms. Xu Fei Fei and Mr. Su De Jin received 1 st prize for their wonderful service as ambassadors. They assisted Chinese graduate applicants in the admission procedure and motivated many eligible Chinese students to choose Inha University as their graduate school.

12. 2 nd Prize : India 3 rd Prize :Vietnam excellent service. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thom received the 3 rd Prize for her dedicated performance as an Inha student ambassador. Mr. Dwivedi Ram Prakash won the 2 nd prize for his excellent service. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thom received the 3 rd Prize for her dedicated performance as an Inha student ambassador.

13. Submission of Good Reports Ms. Pan Bo Xing, Ms. Maria Velle Santos Cuaresma, Mr. Sher Bahadur Rawal and Mr. Syamsul Nurdin were appreciated and highly praised for submitting and presenting good reports.

14. Souvenir for Everyone The honorable Vice Dean Prof bestowed souvenir to everyone. The honorable Vice Dean Prof. Chang Hee Nam bestowed souvenir to everyone.

15. Luncheon After meeting and award ceremony, all the student ambassadors were offered a lunch at Ashley (Home-plus) to celebrate a successful one year. Ms. Kim Ji-hee accompanied all the events on that day.
