4 Grad Transition Plan  Transcript Verification Report  Post Secondary Institution Exploration/Visit  Daily Physical Activity Log  Resume, Cover Letter, & Thank You Letter  Community Connection Hours (30 hours) – can be completed in Gr 10-11-12

5 Community Connections Volunteer or Paid 30 Hours Can be retroactive (Grade 10 -12) Can be from multiple jobs/volunteer opportunities

6 Work Experience 12 Volunteer or Paid 100 hours Earn 4 – Grade 12 credits – can be in Gr 10-11-12 Must register before accumulating hours

7 STEP – LEVEL 1 Sandwick Technical Education Program Job readiness program for trades based careers Open for Grades 10-11-12  Back Safety  Ladder Safety  Fall Arrest  WHMIS  Lock out  Employer Expectations  Six day project (30 hours)

8 STEP – LEVEL 2  Six day project (30 hrs.)  Supervise Level 1 students  Manufacture concrete products  Learn workplace expectations  Great Rewards  Forklift Certificate

9 ACE-IT Accelerated Credit Enrolment in Industry Training ITA (Industry Training Authority) First level of technical training during final year of high school  Automotive Service  Automotive Collision  Carpentry  Cooking  Electrical  Plumbing  Hairdressing  Welding  Metal Mechanical Co-op

10 Dual Credit Earn credit towards graduation while completing a first year course at North Island College  ENGLISH  PSYCHOLOGY  APPLIED BUSINESS TECHONOLGY PROGRAM  FINE ARTS  BUSINESS – MARKETING PRINCIPLES & PRACTICES
