2  H ealth  O ccupation  P reparatory  E ducation  Goal: To provide an educational foundation for students who want to pursue a career in healthcare by learning in a thematic cross-curriculum approach and exposing them to a variety of health care careers and experiences. 4/21/2015

3  Students will learn in a thematic cross-curriculum approach in the core classes integrating health care topics, vocabulary activities, and projects.  Students will be exposed to a variety of occupations in the medical field.  Students will connect classroom learning to health occupations by field trips, guest speakers, job shadowing, club activities and volunteering.  Students will be exposed to a variety of healthcare careers.  Students will be able to continue post-secondary options in health occupations. 4/21/2015
