6 Where is the Arctic? It is in the northern most part of the world. Officially the Arctic is north of 60 ⁰ Latitude, the Arctic Circle. The Arctic ocean surrounds it, the majority of it freezes during the winter. L/O: What is life like for people inside the Arctic Circle?

7 Who lives there? Other than different animals such as polar bears not that many people live in the Arctic circle. People from the countries that are inside the circle do live there, such as people from Russia, Greenland and Canada. L/O: What is life like for people inside the Arctic Circle?
