14. HOW ? Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Psalm 111:9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. 10 With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! 11 I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

15. HOW? Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. 9 What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

16. PRINCIPLES When God saves a person they are transformed – regenerated (2 Cor. 5:17) When God saves a person there is evidence – fruit of the Holy Spirit changing them (Galatians 5:22-23) The wise redeemed person wants to be changed (Galatians 2:20)

17. APPLICATIONS Examine yourself Has God saved you? How do you approach God? How do you respond to the Holy Spirit’s teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness? What are you doing to be more like Christ? What today should change so you could be more like Christ?
