Temperature BY: Brooke Corson

 Measuring With A Thermometer If you want to have an accurate reading of temperature and you put your thermometer outside, you have to put your thermometer in the shade or else the sun will be directly hitting the thermometer and it will not get An accurate measurement

 In order to measure heat/cool you need to have a thermometer, and in your thermometer there is a red line and it gradually goes up the warmer it gets or it slowly goes down the colder it gets down the cooler it gets Measuring heat/cool

 To use your thermometer correctly, you can’t just leave your thermometer outside for a couple of seconds, you have to leave your thermometer outside for a couple of minutes. If you only leave it outside for a couple of second the temperature wont change on the thermometer because it did not catch any of the sunlight Using A Thermometer

 If you want to read a thermometer correctly you need to know what all of the numbers/dashes mean, for example my thermometer is going by tens and all of the dashes mean ones so if you were at the ten mark with 1 little dash it would be 11 degrees outside. There is also Fahrenheit and Celsius, so you need to know what is different between them. Reading temperature

The difference between F and C  If you want to know the difference between Fahrenheit and Celsius you need to know that they are both on opposite sides. Celsius is always going to be announced in other countries, on the news they might sometimes announce the temperature in Celsius but we listen for Fahrenheit because that’s what we know our temperature as. Celsius is always going to sound higher than it actually is for example: if it is 30 degrees Fahrenheit then it would be 83 degrees in Celsius.
