2. 5 reasons why plants are important. 1.Plants make food. Plants make all the food you eat. There is food for you, animals, and me. The plants provide food like oats, corn,and wheat. 2.Plants make oxygen. One of the materials that plants make when they make the food is oxygen gas. oxygen is good for animals and human beings to stay alive. 3. Plants provide habitats for animals. The things they provide are things like branches, twigs, leaves, and roots. 4.Plants provide things that are useful for people. They provide things like food, wood, gasoline, coal, and natural gas. 5.Plants beatify. When people build buildings the job is never done without plants.
