5 SCHOLARSHIPS : IAFS, HIST, PSCI, Fulfill: the Historical Context Core requirement of the College of Arts & Sciences Major requirements in HIST and PSCI (upper division elective credit) IAFS (geographic concentration: Europe or Functional Area III) ENGINEERING (Humanities and Social Sciences, 3 credits) Earn 3 credits in 2 weeks in June ELIGIBILITY : sophomore standing; GPA : 2.5 or above Bordeaux La ville et la campagne

7 Costs PROGRAM FEE for CO residents : Approx. $5,400 (includes airfare and 3 credits) (non-residents, add $1,000) Includes instructional costs for 3 credits of upper division credit, housing, orientations, two group meals, field trips and museum/event admissions, health insurance, airfare estimate and administrative fee to CU-Boulder Study Abroad Programs office.

9 CULTURE Cultural attractions include: Pedestrian mall (longest in Europe), River front esplanade along Garonne St. Emilion Half of Bordeaux is a UNESCO World Heritage site Wine class and winery tours and tastings Opera at the Grand Théatre Beach weekend (optional) Learn French and about France Bordeaux, with one of the highest concentrations of college students in Europe
