30  TIDE stores the list of tests each student takes  Students may not participate in a test, resulting in a discrepancy  You assign a code to explain the discrepancy Discrepancies 30

32  There are circumstances in which a student did not participate in an expected test, is exempted from testing, or is allowed to meet a modified achievement standard. In such instances, you need to assign a test incident code to the student’s test so that the Online Reporting System can accurately explain the circumstance.  The test incident code tab in TIDE shows the test incident code assignment for students broken down into three categories: 1) Attempt Code: The student was eligible for a test but did not take it 2) Private/Home-based/F-1 Visa: The student did or did not test but their scores should be excluded from state aggregate score reporting 3) L2 Basic – The student’s IEP indicates he or she met the standard in the subject by earning a Level 2 Test Incident Codes (Available soon in TIDE) 32
