8 Slope – Example Given two points A(-3, -4) and B(3, 5), find the slope of the line through the points. Algebraically: Reduce fractions whenever possible.

9 Parallel lines Lines in the same plane that do not intersect are called parallel lines. Parallel lines have the same slope.
