2 Objectives Objetivos  Students will be able to demonstrate how to greet adults and friends formally and informally.  Students will be able to demonstrate how to choose different answers when greeting adults or when greeting friends by completing a graphic organizer and an formative assessment with 100% of accuracy.  Students will demonstrate how to greet people according to the time of the day by practicing with their classmates.

4 Greetings/ Saludo Formal (In both cases the students are formally greeting the adults) Buenos días Señorita GarcíaBuenos días Señor Gómez

5 Saludo Formal When addressing a man: Hola! Señor….. When addressing a woman: Hola! Señora….. Or Señorita….! Greet adults :  When talking to a man use: señor, Sr.  When talking to a woman use: señora, Sra.  When talking to an unmarried lady use: señorita, Srta.

6 ¿Cómo estás (tú)?/ Saludo Informal. (This adult is greeting this little girl. He uses “tú” or you) Bien. Gracias (the little girl answers)

11 Introduction yourself and answer with courtesy: Hola! Como te llamas? When two young people meet they say: Hola!. Cómo te llamas? Me llamo Marta ? Y tu? Me llamo Dylan. Mucho gusto. Encantado. When you are introduced to someone use COURTESY and say: Delighted. . Encantado (If you are a male) or  Encantada (If you are a female) You could say mucho gusto. (please to meet you) You can answer: igualmente (the pleasure is mine)
