2 Slide 2 What is ERRA: Voluntary, not-for-profit organization of independent energy regulatory bodies of the Central Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States. All activities are conducted in English and Russian languages.

3 Slide 3 Objectives:  To improve national energy regulation in member countries  To foster development of stable energy regulators with autonomy and authority;  To improve cooperation among Energy Regulators  To facilitate the exchange of information, research, training and experience among members and other regulators around the world.

11 Slide 11 Technical Exchange Programs Aim: to promote bilateral assistance and training programs between member organizations 1-2 day technical exchanges 1-2 week apprenticeship placements Travel subsidy provided in max. $1,000 9 successful programs 4 more programs until the end of 2005

12 Slide 12 Energy Regulation and Investment Conference The Conference brings together energy regulators with other stakeholders of the industry: utilities, banks, consultants, government representatives Attracts some 250 participants ERRA will organize the 5 th Conference on May 15-16 in Budapest Registration fee: Euro 450-550 for regulators, 990-1100 for others
