Spring Recruitment This month, you should be implementing your May/June recruitment. –Remember that kindergarten youth are eligible to be Tigers June 1 st. –Having local events such as Olympics and festivals in late May or early June is a great recruitment tool. If your area has a Spring Camporee, get your Webelos involved with a local Troop. 3

4. Summer Activities To keep Cubs engaged (especially the new ones), plan out activities for June, July and August. For new youth, have a dedicated “new Cub” Den Leader. –This may mean that they are handling a variety of ages. –The goal is to integrate them into existing Dens come September. Or if enough new youth, create a new Den with 6 to 8 youth. 4

5.
