With the Congressional Act in 1998, it has not sided with any particular nation in an violent conflict since. The government, however, is not against providing humanitarian aids to the inflicted people. The Israeli-Palestine conflict is due to a territorial dispute; the region was Israelis religious home even after they were vanished by Romans from there and Palestinians’ physical home for centuries after the Israelis left. After WWII, Britain’s hasty management of the mandate expelled the Palestinians and founded Israeli nation. Now the Palestinians want their home back and Israeli is fighting back. Korea is not affiliated with neither of the belligerents economically nor diplomatically. In 1998, the National Congress declared that Korea will not participate in the conflict. Since then, only independent NGOs have been providing aids at their will and airlines to Israel is not illegal. It believes firmly that military intervention in this issue will only worsen the situation, and calls for diplomatic negotiation without arms. South Korea is willing to support resolutions that will end this violent unrest and to provide aids if necessary. (ie, maybe here you just don’t want to send any of your troops.. Rather than being sincerely concerned.)
