1 ORM 2012

2 This is the 8 th ORM Workshop held in conjunction with the OTM conferences, with previous workshops held in Cyprus, Portugal (twice), France, Mexico, and Crete (twice). The workshop welcomes submissions on all fact-orientated modeling approaches, including ORM, CogNIAM, FCO-IM, PSM and related approaches (SBVR and OSM). This year we had submissions from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Norway, The Netherlands, and the USA, each having at least 4 reviews. Thanks to all the submitters and the Program Committee. In addition to 11 paper presentations there are 3 software tool demonstrations, and 3 working sessions on a common exchange metamodel. Presenters are requested to make their slides available for posting to the ORM Foundation website. Each paper and/or tool demonstration slot typically lasts 45 minutes. Please complete your presentation within 30 minutes allowing the rest of the session for Q&A.
