2. Background Natural resources like rocks and minerals have been formed on earth over a long time. People consider them to be non-renewable. But what happens when people have the technology to create diamonds? How does this affect the value of ALL of the diamonds in the world?

4. Challenge Question How do diamonds made in a lab compare to diamonds mined from the earth? Answer: They are very similar and hard to tell them apart.
