Regional Summit on Sustainable Funding for In- Home Asthma Prevention Services What were the Numbers? Participation Registration: 177 Attendance: 170-180 Social Media:  #Region2AsthmaSummit & #RxHealthyHomes  75 posts  150 likes/favorites  180 re-tweets

Post Summit Evaluations on Conference Program & Materials 96% Rated Good, Very Good, or Excellent 94% Rated Good, Very Good, or Excellent

Post Summit Evaluations: Benefits of Attending Asthma Summit 92% Strongly Agree, Somewhat Agree or were neutral

Post Summit Evaluations  ~30% response rate (paper and electronic)  Respondents included Social Workers, RNs, MDs, PhDs, MPHs, and Trainees/Students  Written Feedback: What information was new to you? “Asthma related issues in Puerto Rico and school based asthma interventions/educations.” “Reimbursement limitations in NYS and effects on health plans/MMCOs variety of funding opportunities from public agencies.”

Post Summit Evaluations What session was most helpful? Ins + outs of asthma business plan. Keynote Speaker address was excellent. Not so much a particular session but hearing about all the resources, references, different programs, and public/private sources of funding. Last panel was very inspiring.

Post Summit Evaluations What session was least helpful? Networking lunch: tables were too close to be able to mingle Federal/State/City/Territorial Panel: too much repetition- use the format/style of last panel would be beneficial. (Panel Lead asking 2-3 questions of the panelists) Auditorium style seating difficult to mingle & foster collaborations

Post Summit Evaluations-Other Comments Very inspirational and promising for future potential for asthma programs Great networking opportunities. Great job in a short period of time. Please have EPA continue to help guide the efforts moving forward. Maybe splitting the summit into 2 days on topics, there is so much info to digest and another layer of details (action). End of the day on a Friday is a hard time of the week for a conference. Panel formats into a TED style talks was a good setup.
