3. In the Valencian Region, many people speak Spanish and Valencian and it has got three symbols: a flag, an anthem, a coat of arms and a banner.

4. Typical meals The most typical meals in this autonomous region are: the rice with beans and turnips and the paella. We can make the paella with meat and vegetables, with seafood, and with meat and seafood.

5. The “turrón” is an important sweet in the Valencian Region. But we have other sweets: the “arnadí” (with pumpkin and nuts), the “orelletes” (fried dough with honey), the “buñuelos de viento”, the “cocas” (very thin pastry with sugar and brandy) and the “flaons” (small cakes filled of curd cheese, almonds, cinnamon, sugar, flour and eggs).
