2 What is it ? Carnival is a traditional celebration in Italy. During carnival people celebrate it with masks and strange clothes. Carnival is before Lent (Quaresima).

3 Masks In Carnival we disguise by witch, princess, arlecchino, dragon, fairy, pirate, Zorro, Spiderman, cat...

4 Food In carnival we eat a lot of sweets: chatter, krapfen, fritters, pancakes…

5 Decorations In Carnival we make jokes and we decorate homes and streets with confetti, streamers and spray foam.

6 Parade In Carnival we partecipate at the parade with floats, masks and funny clothes. During the parade there is beautiful music.
