4 SENIOR DAY TIMELINE- May 26st 8:00 come to school; find your seat on the map and then in the gym. 8:30 rehearsal begins…learn line-up, staging, and seating. 10:30 talent show in the auditorium. 12:00 picnic and senior play at the stadium. 5:00 return to school and line-up for ceremony. Wear caps and gowns. 4:15 students receiving honor cords will pick them up in the Media Center. 6:00 Class Night Ceremony and reception to follow for family and friends.

5 Expect a LARGE crowd at Senior Night. Babysitting services will be offered for small children. Children must be registered by Friday, May 20th. The registration form can be found on the school website. The completed registration form should be turned in to the front desk. Activities, games and snacks will be provided. Senior Night is May 26st

8 CLASS OF 2016 BACCALAUREATE CEREMONY CLASS OF 2016 BACCALAUREATE CEREMONY You are cordially invited to attend The Interfaith Baccalaureate Ceremony for Wakefield High School’s Class of 2016 Date, Time & Location will be posted on the website when confirmed. Information will also go out with Mr. Bazzell’s phone message. This ceremony is planned by parent volunteers. 9 CLASS of 2016 Wakefield No cell phones! < Teachers and administrators will be on the floor monitoring student behavior. Students who do not act appropriately will have their diplomas pulled and will be removed from the ceremony. If you diploma is pulled, you will have to see Mr. Bazzell at the school at a later time in order to receive it.

10 Please note the following: Policies & Procedures All fines and fees must be paid by Friday, May 20 th in order for the student to participate in graduation.

11 This year, all seniors will have the opportunity to earn a dvd…a professional recording…of the entire graduation ceremony at no cost. This dvd will be available for pick up at the end of June in the main office at school. We will post on the website when it is ready for pick up. Your behavior at the ceremony will determine if you receive one of these DVDs. Something NEW this year! Graduation 2016! Wakefield High School

13 Rehearsal – Arrive @ the Raleigh Convention Center @ 5:15 PM on MONDAY, JUNE 6th. Go to Hall A. Be in your seat by 5:30 PM. Graduation – SATURDAY, JUNE 11 th The ceremony begins @ 8 PM. Be in your seat by 7 PM. Note: Parking is $7.00 Raleigh Convention Center

15 NOTES & Reminders! 1)FRIDAY, MAY 20th–  Fines and fees are due in the Media Center.  Babysitting forms are due to the front desk.  RSVPs are due to the front desk for the # of people attending Class Night.  RSVPs are due to the front desk for Baccalaureate.  Senior Information sheet reporting awards, scholarships, and other information is due to the front desk. 2)IMPORTANT: Any scholarship or award a Senior has received should be turned in to the front desk for publication in the graduation program – FRIDAY, MAY 20 th. 3)Senior Class Night is THURSDAY, MAY 26th Report to school @ 8:00 AM for rehearsal in the gym. Report back to school @ 5:00 PM to line-up for the ceremony. Wear caps and gowns. Be careful with tassel; secure it to your cap. If receiving an honor cord, report to the Media Center at 4:15. 4) Information about Baccalaureate is forthcoming and will be posted on the website when everything is confirmed. 5) Arrive at the Raleigh Convention Center (downtown) @ 5:15PM on MONDAY, JUNE 6 th for graduation rehearsal. Rehearsal begins @ 6:00 PM. 6)Arrive@ the RCC and be in your seat by 7:00 PM on SATURDAY, JUNE 11th for the graduation ceremony. The ceremony begins @ 8:00 PM.

She was involved in a drunk driving accident that tore her arm off and almost took her life. She has lived to tell her compelling story to teens all over the country. We are excited to have Sarah Panzau speak to the Senior Class.
