3 On a grassy little hill sat a lonely little tree. lonely little tree. But is it really lonely? Let’s look and see!

4 1 fuzzy CATERPILLAR is crawling is crawling up the tree.

5 Look all around and find it find it with me.

6 2 brown GRASSHOPPERS GRASSHOPPERS are chirping in the grass.

7 Look quick and find them. They are so fast!

8 3 colorful BIRDS are now flying by.

9 Look down low and look up high!

10 4 BEES are buzzing by the flowers below.

11 Look you can see them in the grass down low.

12 5 BUTTERFLIES flutter around the treetop.

13 Will they flutter long there or will they stop?

14 6 ripe PEARS are PEARS arehangingfrom the tree.

15 I don’t think that think that it’s too lonely! lonely!

16 7 red ANTS are marching in a line.

17 Looking at this tree there are many things to find!

19 So many things to count in the tree and on the ground.

20 Rational This book is designed for toddler age children. It has simple rhymes and a counting theme. It can also be an introduction for spatial concepts. Toddlers would enjoy looking for the things to count on the bright colorful pages.
