The Principles of Daoism Prepared by: Kurmanbay Nagima 8C

What is Daoism? Daoism is an ancient Chinese way of life that emphasizes a simple and natural existence (Karpiel,F.Krull,K). (Intercultural Education trough Religious Studies, 2014)(WallpaperEast)

What are the principles of Daoism? Daoism has four basic principles: (Stillpoint Center for Spiritual Development, 2015) (Deschene, 2011) (Sleep Review, 2014) (Free Stock Photos,)

Oneness “Every being in the universe is an expression of the Tao… …That is why love of the Tao is in the very nature of things.” (Laozi, 6 th century BC) (Andrea, 2012) (Hillis, 2014)

Dynamic Balance “The Tao is the One. From the One come yin and yang; … All life embodies yin And embraces yang, Through their union achieving harmony.”(Laozi, 6 th century BC) (Pacific Balance and Rehabilitation Clinic) (Deidaku, 2015)

Cyclical Growth “The Tao moves by returning In endless cycles. By yielding, it overcomes, creating the ten thousand things, being from nonbeing.” (Laozi, 6 th century BC) (Jones) (Foster)

Harmonious Action “…When the ancient Masters said, "If you want to be given everything, give everything up," they weren't using empty phrases. Only in being lived by the Tao can you be truly yourself.” (Laozi, 6 th century BC) (Bo)

Feng Shui Feng is wind and shui is water, because water and wind are associated with good health in China, so good feng shui means good luck, whiles bad feng shui is bad luck and misfortune. (Lok Tin Yung, 2013) (Natures-Energies)

Conclusion Daoism has many benefits for people: 1.Harmony 2.A new outlook 3.A new lifestyle 4.Relaxation
